The Durham County Golf Union (DCGU), as the men’s amateur golf governing body in County Durham, focuses on administering county championships, team competitions, and coaching programs. Affiliated with England Golf, the DCGU manages course measurements and slope ratings for its 43 member clubs and serves as the local authority on the R&A Rules of Golf and Handicapping.

Clubs Team Handicap Competition Postponed
 The Club Teams Handicap Competition due to be played at Garesfield GC this Saturday 1st June is POSTPONED. It is now scheduled to be played at the same venue on Saturday 27th July. The course is currently closed, and following an inspection this morning, it was determined that despite
